As a key member of our shop, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles to ensure they are safe and looking their best. The ideal candidate will have a passion for auto body work, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of auto body repairs, including collision damage, body panel replacement, and glass replacement
- Use power tools and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Assemble and disassemble parts, including doors, hoods, and fenders
- Estimate the cost of repairs and provide detailed estimates to customers
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Collaborate with other technicians and shop staff to meet production and quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies in auto body repair Qualifications
- Proven experience in auto body repair, preferably with a focus on collision repair
- Knowledge of power tools and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with a variety of parts
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- State certification in one or more areas (optional but preferred) The successful candidate will have a passion for auto body work and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
