Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Collision Technician to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Perform collision repairs on vehicles using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels. Fabricate and modify sheet metal components using fabrication repair techniques to ensure proper fit and finish. Operate automotive welding equipment, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying systems for refinishing and cosmetic repairs. Install automotive parts such as glass, trim, bumpers, and other components with precision. Conduct auto restoration projects by applying automotive cosmetic repair skills, including auto painting and detailing. Follow safety protocols while handling heavy lifting tasks, working with automotive parts installation, and using various hand tools and power tools. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or collision repair specialist in a dealership or similar environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal work. Proficiency in MIG welding, welding repair techniques, soldering, and fabrication processes. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive parts installation. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service skills for effective communication with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment. Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory; a background in auto restoration or mechanic experience is also valuable.
