Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Autobody & Paint Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition through expert auto body repair and painting techniques. Your expertise will ensure high-quality finishes, seamless repairs, and satisfied customers. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening with precision and care Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer using hand tools and power tools Apply paint using airless spray guns, ensuring smooth, even coats and flawless finishes Conduct buffing, polishing, and detailing to achieve optimal vehicle appearance Replace or repair auto glass components as needed, ensuring proper fit and safety standards Utilize welding skills to repair or modify vehicle structures when necessary Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical inspections, light repairs, and general upkeep to support overall restoration projects Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair and auto painting; dealership experience is a plus Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, auto restoration techniques, and auto estimating procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and buffing machines Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement Mechanical knowledge including welding skills and familiarity with auto glass installation Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repair progress and expectations Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto estimating software is desirable Valid certifications or training in auto body repair or related fields are preferred Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering top-tier vehicle restoration!
