1401 Bridford Pkwy, Greensboro, NC 27407 The Hendrick Automotive Group Collision is currently seeking a Paint-less Dent (PDR) Technician experienced in a variety of PDR techniques, automotive reconditioning, paint touch up and wheel repair! What You'll Do:

Paint-less Dent Repair Technicians are responsible for examining auto body damage and completing necessary body repairs according to Collision Center guidelines. Examining body damage on customer vehicles Identifying necessary body repair work Estimating cost of body work Documents repairs performed Perform paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines. Maintain CSI, and clean, safe work area at or above Company standards Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Demonstrate both the Company's Core Values and observe all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties. Desired Education:

Required:

High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Preferred:

Graduation or successful completion of an accredited trade school or community college program such as or similar to: Automotive Technology, Collision Refinish & Repair, or Autobody Repair Technology.

Desired Work Experience:

Required:

At least 2years of Paint-less Dent Repair experience required, and ability to operate equipment to perform PDR functions.

Preferred:

Prior automotive reconditioning experience including but not limited to: paint-touch up, alloy wheel repair, and interior repair.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid Driver's License (Required) I-CAR certifications (Preferred)

Other Skills and Information:

Computer Skills:

Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.

Communication Skills:

Ability to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.

Attendance Expectations:

The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds. Must pass OSHA respiratory medical exam.

Environment Demands:

Duties are performed primarily in the body repair shop. Work includes frequent movement around vehicles in order to apply paint to various vehicle body parts. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, paint-dust, paint fumes, and other body repair shop conditions.

Verbal and Writing Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to understand and follow technical manuals.
