Job Description
Job description We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Body Shop Prepper to join our busy collision repair team. The successful candidate will prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment with opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting. Sand, mask, and clean vehicles before paint application. Apply primers and sealers as required. Inspect repaired panels for imperfections and ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work closely with painters and body technicians to meet production deadlines. Follow all workplace health and safety procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a body shop prepper or in automotive refinishing. Knowledge of sanding, masking, and paint preparation techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license with a clean record.
