Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and dent removal using industry-standard techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and welding repair skills to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Conduct sheet metal fabrication and repair using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication repair techniques. Apply automotive cosmetic repair methods including sanding, auto painting, auto refinishing, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Operate automotive welding equipment and airless paint spraying systems to ensure high-quality results. Use automotive parts installation knowledge and auto estimating skills to assess damage and determine necessary repairs. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks and perform heavy lifting as required during repair processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards at all times. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong knowledge of auto body repair, automotive structural repair, and auto restoration techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication methods. Familiarity with sheet metal work, sanding tools, power tools, and automotive painting equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Experience with auto glass replacement and auto estimating is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently with hand tools and power tools. Dealership experience is preferred but not required; a strong background in automotive repair is essential. $27.30 - $32.88 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
