In this role, you will utilize your skills in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to deliver exceptional results. Your craftsmanship will help clients regain confidence in their vehicles, ensuring safety and aesthetic excellence. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, including frame straightening and sheet metal work, using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle integrity. Utilize hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive welding equipment to execute precise repairs and refinishing. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques like auto painting, auto restoration, and automotive body refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, and other components with attention to detail and quality standards. Operate airless paint spraying equipment for efficient application of paint and coatings while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks, including detailing, auto parts installation, and minor mechanical repairs when necessary. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic finishing techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques using automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto restoration processes, and the use of sanding tools for surface preparation. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and spray painting systems safely and effectively. Dealership experience is highly preferred for understanding industry standards and customer service expectations. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills; capable of working efficiently under pressure.
