In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers needing collision repair estimates and vehicle assessments. Your expertise will help ensure accurate damage evaluation, seamless communication with clients, and efficient workflow management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your automotive knowledge and customer service skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to quality repairs and exceptional service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to assess collision damage, including structural, mechanical, and cosmetic issues Utilize automotive estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates that include parts, labor, and materials Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures, costs, and timelines to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to coordinate repair processes and confirm scope of work Maintain accurate records of estimates, customer interactions, and repair orders using digital systems Assist with client communication throughout the repair process, ensuring transparency and building trust Experience Prior experience in auto body estimating or collision repair is required Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, transmissions, brakes, shocks & struts, suspension systems, and tire services Experience using estimating software such as CCC ONE or similar programs Hands-on experience as a service technician or in automotive repair enhances your ability to accurately assess damages Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Basic driving skills required for vehicle inspections and test drives when necessary Knowledge of auto estimating procedures including collision damage assessment and service writing This part-time estimator role is perfect for individuals passionate about automotive repair who thrive on delivering outstanding customer experiences while leveraging their technical expertise.
