Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. In this role, you will utilize your skills in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and finishing to deliver exceptional results. Duties Perform automotive structural repairs, dent removal, and sheet metal work using advanced fabrication techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding repair methods to restore vehicle frames and panels accurately. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment to prepare surfaces for refinishing. Conduct auto body repairs including auto restoration, cosmetic repairs, auto painting, and auto glass replacement. Install automotive parts such as bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision. Apply automotive body refinishing techniques using airless paint spraying and other finishing methods to achieve a high-quality appearance. Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto repair and perform heavy lifting safely as needed. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and detailed vehicle inspections. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a related role within a dealership or collision center. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and sheet metal fabrication. Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive cosmetic repair processes including sanding, painting, and detailing. Experience using automotive welding equipment, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting systems. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and automotive parts installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
