Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive automotive structural repairs, auto body restoration, and cosmetic refinishing to ensure vehicles are returned to their optimal condition. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle repair techniques will contribute to delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced welding repair techniques such as MIG welding and soldering. Conduct automotive welding repairs utilizing automotive welding equipment, ensuring strong and durable joints. Fabricate custom parts or repair panels using fabrication techniques, working with sheet metal and automotive structural components. Utilize sanding tools, auto painting equipment, airless paint spraying, and detailing tools to achieve high-quality cosmetic finishes. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim, and other components with precision. Apply automotive body refinishing techniques including sanding, priming, painting, and polishing to restore vehicles' appearance. Assist with auto restoration projects by employing fabrication repair techniques and mechanical knowledge to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to life. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for assembly, disassembly, and detailed repairs while adhering to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair progress clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician in a dealership or similar setting with a strong background in auto body repair. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive structural repair methods. Solid mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for vehicle maintenance and repairs. Familiarity with auto painting processes including auto body refinishing and auto restoration projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while working on vehicle repairs or installations. Knowledge of automotive parts installation, auto glass replacement, and auto estimating procedures is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and providing top-tier customer service.
