Lead Auto Body Repair Technician 2330 Lakeview Road, Lake View, NY 14085 From $25.64 an hour - Full-time From $25.64 an hour - Full-time Full job description Lead Auto Body Technician is responsible for assessing vehicle damage, determining course of action for repairs, coordinating shop repair activities, completing repairs within the allotted timeframe, and working respectfully with vendors, customers and co-workers. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in collision repair including disassemble / assemble, body work, metal work, welding, structural repairs and paint. Ability to assess vehicle damage and provide input on repair estimates. Ability to coordinate shop repair activities and give work direction to other employees. Ability to work with suppliers and place orders for parts. High degree of product and technical knowledge. Ability to use a personal computer, a general understanding of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn estimating software programs as needed. Excellent follow-through, problem solving and organizational skills. Must be self-motivated with good communication skills. Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to customers and performing required tasks accurately and professionally. Rate is based on experience. Valid New York State Driver's License.
