Job Description

Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking a Class B CDL Route Relief Driver to support our Environmental Services operations within the Transportation & Logistics team. In this role, you'll safely operate Class B vehicles to service customer locations, collect used oil and waste materials, and provide route coverage across multiple territories. You'll complete DOT-compliant documentation, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure timely, professional service. Responsibilities Safely operate Class B CDL vehicles on assigned service routes Perform route relief coverage across multiple territories as needed Transport used oil, waste, and environmental materials in compliance with DOT and company policies Complete required logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation accurately Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues Load and unload containers, drums, and parts-cleaning equipment safely Provide professional, customer-focused service at industrial and automotive sites Follow all Safety-Kleen and Clean Harbors safety procedures and PPE requirements Coordinate with dispatch and logistics teams to adjust daily routes Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicle and equipment Required Skills Class B commercial driving DOT compliance and hours-of-service Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Hazardous materials handling Tanker and pumping system operation Route planning and time management Electronic logs and documentation Customer service in field settings Safe lifting and material handling Knowledge of environmental/waste regulations
