Auto Body Technician (Collision Repair) - Join Our Team in Long Island City Precision Auto Works of Long Island City is growing, and we're looking for experienced Auto Body Technicians to join our team. Whether you have several years of collision repair experience or you're looking to grow your skills with the latest EV technology, we'd like to talk with you. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Monthly production and efficiency bonuses Sign-on bonus for qualified technicians Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid holidays and paid time off 401(k) retirement plan Paid OEM and manufacturer training Opportunities for career growth and advancement Modern, well-equipped collision repair facility Friendly, team-oriented workplace What You'll Do Disassemble and reassemble vehicles during repairs Repair collision damage and replace body panels Perform structural and cosmetic body repairs Work with steel and aluminum vehicles Use industry-standard repair equipment (training provided if needed) Follow proper repair procedures for today's vehicles, including electric vehicles Work closely with estimators and fellow technicians Keep your work area clean and organized What We're Looking For Collision repair or auto body experience (around 3-5 years preferred) Experience with steel and/or aluminum repairs is helpful Dependable with a strong work ethic Team player with good communication skills Able to read and communicate in English Not certified? That's okay. I-CAR and OEM certifications are a plus, but they're not required . We'll invest in the right person with paid training and certification opportunities.
