Davidson Collision of Watertown is looking for an Experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team! Pay Range:

$1,000-$1,200 per week, based on experience

Friday Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality structural and nonstructural collision repairs. Repair and replace damaged body panels and vehicle components. Complete frame and unibody repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Disassemble vehicles, identify additional damage, and assist with repair planning. Use appropriate tools, equipment, and repair procedures to complete work efficiently. Work closely with estimators, painters, and other technicians to keep repairs on schedule. Inspect completed repairs to ensure proper fit, finish, safety, and quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area. Follow all company procedures and workplace safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Previous professional experience in an automotive collision center. Strong knowledge of modern collision-repair methods, tools, and equipment. The ability to consistently produce high-quality repairs with minimal rework. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right. The ability to work efficiently, independently, and as part of a team. Strong time management and problem-solving skills. The flexibility to adjust to changing repair priorities and deadlines. Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

I-CAR certifications. Previous Auto Body BOCES or college courses.

Physical Requirements:

The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The ability to occasionally perform repetitive motion tasks such as typing on a computer, writing on documents, using common hand tools. The ability to regularly traverse areas throughout the dealership. The ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The ability to stand for long periods of time.
