Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Paint Correction Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in restoring vehicles to their pristine condition through expert surface preparation, paint correction, and finishing techniques. Duties Perform comprehensive surface preparation including masking, sanding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute precise paint correction procedures using automotive buffing, polishing, and detailing techniques to eliminate imperfections such as scratches, swirl marks, and oxidation Operate various spray guns, including conventional and airless paint sprayers, for applying coatings with accuracy and consistency Utilize hand tools, grinders, power tools, and specialized auto body repair equipment to facilitate surface repairs and refinishing processes Conduct auto restoration tasks such as auto glass replacement, auto body refinishing, and minor mechanical adjustments as needed Apply automotive paints and coatings with attention to detail while adhering to safety standards including respiratory protection protocols Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring all safety procedures are followed during heavy lifting or use of hazardous materials Experience Proven dealership experience or background in automotive refinishing and body repair preferred Hands-on experience with welding, grinding, sanding, and surface preparation techniques Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems to support auto body repairs and restorations Familiarity with automotive buffing, detailing, auto painting, and coating spray guns Knowledge of auto estimating processes and customer service skills for effective communication with clients Experience working with paints, primers, clear coats, and surface masking materials Ability to operate power tools safely while maintaining high-quality standards in auto restoration projects Prior experience with auto glass installation or repair is a plus Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during detailed work tasks Join us if you're passionate about automotive excellence!
