Auto body repair technician 1. job description Repair automotive bodies by planning repairs: repairing, replacing, and refinishing parts Disassemble and repair damaged related areas Remove damaged parts and replace to the expected standard Read work orders and repair damaged area accordingly and efficiently with high quality craftmanship Follow a standard operating procedure for work Perform duties in a clean and orderly fashion, with respect for the tools and equipment provided Follow all safety guidelines Assist in training of new technicians Other duties as assigned by supervisor 2. skill requirements The ability to think critically by giving first hand recommendations of repair methods for a damaged car.
