Fred Martin Collision Center is a high-volume shop looking for a Body Shop Technician to handle mechanical support, inspections, and vehicle readiness. This is not a stand-around role. If you're dependable, move with urgency, and want steady hours, you'll do well here.
What You'll Be Doing:
Test systems and components to ensure proper operation Identify mechanical issues and isolate problem areas Road test vehicles and verify repairs Check and refill fluids as needed Maintain proper tire pressure and perform basic maintenance Install oil drain plugs and filters as needed Support the shop by keeping vehicles ready for delivery Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment daily
What We're Looking For:
Strong mechanical aptitude and basic diagnostic ability Comfortable working on a variety of vehicles Ability to stay efficient in a fast-paced shop Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn Valid driver's license with clean record
