Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive repair techniques, including welding, fabrication, and cosmetic refinishing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair, strong mechanical knowledge, and experience working with a variety of tools and equipment. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service while honing your skills in auto body repair and restoration. Responsibilities Perform automotive structural repairs using welding repair techniques such as MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels. Conduct auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal fabrication, sanding, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a smooth finish. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and auto painting equipment to prepare surfaces for refinishing and apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and other components with precision and care. Execute auto restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged sheet metal, performing auto body refinishing, and detailing vehicles to meet high-quality standards. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including mechanical inspections, light repairs, and assembly of repaired parts to ensure vehicle safety and functionality. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair cycle. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role with dealership experience preferred. Strong proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive structural repair methods. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive painting equipment. Familiarity with auto estimating procedures and automotive parts installation processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of auto restoration techniques including sheet metal work, auto body refinishing, sanding, detailing, and auto painting.
