Responsibilities Diagnose collision-related damage on heavy-duty trucks and develop effective repair plans. Perform structural repairs using MIG welding, sheet metal fabrication, and auto body techniques to restore vehicle frames and bodies. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove damaged parts and install new components such as auto glass and auto painting finishes. Execute mechanical repairs involving engine components, suspension systems, and other vital truck systems to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and ensure all work meets safety standards. Proven heavy-duty truck repair experience with a strong background in auto body repair and collision restoration. Skilled in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools. Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty truck systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism during interactions with clients or team members. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship in all aspects of collision repair.
