Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise auto body repairs, restorations, and fabrication work to ensure vehicles are restored to their original condition with quality craftsmanship. Your expertise in welding, sheet metal work, auto painting, and vehicle maintenance will be essential in delivering exceptional service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle repairs, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to bring vehicles back to life efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using industry-standard techniques. Utilize MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicle frames and panels. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying equipment and finishing with sanding tools for smooth, professional results. Repair auto glass, perform auto restoration projects, and handle sheet metal fabrication tasks with precision. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment safely to disassemble and reassemble vehicle components during repair processes. Apply automotive repair knowledge to diagnose issues related to vehicle body damage and recommend appropriate repair solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs performed, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience working as an automotive body technician within a dealership or independent shop environment. Strong background in auto body repair, auto painting, auto restoration, and sheet metal fabrication. Skilled in MIG welding, welding repair, soldering, and using automotive welding equipment effectively. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and automotive repair processes. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices is a plus. Ability to operate sanding tools, assembly equipment, airless paint sprayers, and other specialized auto body tools confidently. Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods is required.
