In this role, you will utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct sanding, auto painting, auto glass installation, and automotive refinishing to achieve a flawless finish. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to prepare surfaces and apply finishes efficiently. Execute automotive cosmetic repairs such as scratch removal, dent repair, and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance. Assist with auto parts installation, vehicle maintenance, and assembly tasks ensuring proper fitment and functionality. Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding repair, fabrication repair techniques, and when working with automotive parts or materials. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar auto repair role within a dealership or independent shop. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, sheet metal fabrication, and auto restoration processes. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, welding repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Familiarity with auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and automotive refinishing methods. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and other shop equipment safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for maintenance tasks such as auto glass replacement or parts installation. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs and estimates. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail.
