Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and craftsmanship. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Conduct auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and sheet metal fabrication to restore vehicle integrity. Utilize automotive welding equipment and power tools to execute precise repairs and fabrication tasks. Apply automotive cosmetic repair techniques such as sanding, auto painting, and refinishing to achieve a high-quality finish. Install automotive parts including auto glass, trim pieces, and other components with attention to detail and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, use of hand tools, sanding tools, and other equipment. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service interactions, and vehicle inspection processes to ensure customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or repair shop environment. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, dent removal, sheet metal work, and cosmetic refinishing techniques. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems for effective diagnostics and repairs. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, auto painting equipment, and assembly techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs. Ability to communicate clearly about repair processes and timelines.
