Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with the ability to work on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Duties Perform body repairs on vehicles, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Conduct auto painting tasks to restore vehicles to their original finish. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair automotive systems as needed. Restore classic cars and other vehicles through meticulous auto restoration techniques. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Use hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently in the repair process. Fabricate parts as necessary for repairs, ensuring high standards of quality. Install auto glass components when required. Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle parts and equipment during the repair process. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive systems. Familiarity with auto restoration techniques is a plus. Experience in auto painting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Proficient in using hand tools and equipment relevant to auto body work. Ability to solder and fabricate components as needed for repairs. Must be capable of performing heavy lifting as part of the job requirements.
