Job Description

Summary/Objective Assess and repair damages to vehicles damaged during transport and damages that occur internally. Essential Functions Verify VIN or vehicle with VIN on work order. Inspect body prep work before painting. Prepare and paint vehicle. Vaseor must complete hotline on unit if unit requires hotline. RO must be completed and submitted to admin. Periodic inspections of booths, filters, lights, temperature, etc. to ensure booths are properly operating. Inspect unit after work is complete. Competencies Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal. Must be detail oriented. Ability to solve problems. Ability to work as a team. Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities. Punctual and dependable person. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports. Work Environment Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions. Physical Demands Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are primarily 8 hours each day, Monday through Friday on a day shift. This position may require overtime. Travel This position does not have any travel requirements. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Education and Experience One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience. Computer Operations Intermediate personal computer skills including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Work Authorization/Security Clearance Must be able to obtain TWIC badge Must have a valid Driver's License.
