AIRSTREAM BODY SHOP TECHNICIAN

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a skilled, motivated Body Shop Technician to join our Airstream Service Center. This is a specialized position working on one of the most iconic products in the RV industry. Airstream body repair requires precision, craftsmanship, mechanical ability, and exceptional attention to detail. We want a technician who takes pride in doing the job right and producing work they are proud to put their name on.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Repair collision, impact, hail, and exterior body damage Remove and replace aluminum exterior panels Perform drilling, riveting, fitting, and panel installation Remove and reinstall windows, doors, trim, moldings, and exterior components Diagnose and repair water intrusion and sealing issues Maintain proper panel alignment, fit, finish, and appearance Identify additional damage during repairs Communicate parts and repair needs with advisors and management Perform quality-control inspections throughout the repair process Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

Experience in any of the following is highly valuable: Airstream or RV body repair Automotive collision repair Aircraft sheet-metal repair Aluminum fabrication Heavy truck or trailer repair Metal fabrication or restoration Direct Airstream experience is preferred, but strong mechanical ability, craftsmanship, and a willingness to learn are equally important.
