Position Title Body Technician (Body Tech) Department Collision Repair Reports To Shop Manager Position Summary Metro Motor Collision is seeking an experienced, high-performing Body Technician to join our growing collision team. We provide a 100-hour pay guarantee plus flat-rate earning potential , giving you the security of guaranteed hours without limiting what you can earn. We're looking for a technician who takes pride in quality repairs, works efficiently, and wants to be part of a busy, professional shop with a strong team behind them. Key Responsibilities Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs using OEM-approved repair procedures Repair and replace body panels, frames, and underbody components Measure, cut, weld, straighten, and repair damaged vehicle structures Restore vehicles safely and accurately to pre-accident condition Maintain high standards for repair quality, fit, finish, and safety Work closely with estimators, painters, and other technicians to keep vehicles moving efficiently Follow all shop and OSHA safety procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Participate in team communication and help improve shop workflow and productivity Qualifications 5+ years of collision/body repair experience preferred Strong structural and non-structural repair skills I-CAR certifications preferred or willingness to obtain them with company support Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume collision environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs Dependable, productive, and team-oriented Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Compensation & Benefits 100-hour pay guarantee Flat-rate earning opportunity above the guarantee Paid weekly Strong earning potential for productive technicians Paid Time Off (PTO) Holiday pay Company-supported training and certifications Consistent workflow Professional, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to grow with Metro Motor Collision If you're a productive Body Technician who wants guaranteed pay without sacrificing your earning potential, apply today.
