Automotive Prepper| Competitive Pay Auto Haus Body Shop is looking for an experienced Automotive Prepper to join our team at our Williamsburg, VA location. As part of the Auto Haus dealership group , we've proudly served Hampton Roads since 1992 . Our modern, climate-controlled collision center is equipped with professional-grade equipment and provides a clean, safe, and organized work environment where skilled technicians can succeed. Diagnose and complete all refinish operations safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality. Prepare, mix, tint, and apply paint to achieve accurate color matches. Follow manufacturer paint specifications, application procedures, and curing guidelines. Spray test panels to verify color before painting vehicles. Operate paint booth equipment, spray guns, air sanders, sanding blocks, and related refinishing tools. Assist with vehicle preparation when needed. Remove masking materials and ensure all paint-related disassembly is properly reassembled. Complete quality control documentation for every repair. Manage paint materials efficiently to minimize waste. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all OSHA and hazardous waste disposal regulations. Perform additional duties as needed to support the collision center. Qualifications Strong knowledge of automotive refinishing and paint systems Ability to accurately color match and blend finishes Experience with OEM repair procedures and industry standards High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work efficiently in a team environment If you're an experienced automotive painter looking for a professional shop with excellent pay, modern equipment, and a company that values its employees, we'd love to meet you.
