Auto Body TechnicianOverview We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. We work with insurance companies on collision repairs and also purchase damaged vehicles from automotive auctions, repair them, and sell them. This allows us to maintain a steady workflow and gives our technicians the opportunity to work on a wide variety of vehicles and damage types. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and can handle both insurance collision repairs and rebuild projects. Responsibilities Perform collision and auto body repairs, including dent repair, sheet metal work, and structural repairs. Perform MIG welding, fabrication, and other body repair techniques. Remove, repair, and install body panels, glass, trim, lights, and other components. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and automotive repair equipment. Repair vehicles according to manufacturer procedures and proper safety standards. Work on both insurance collision claims and damaged vehicles purchased from auctions. Assist with vehicle inspections and identifying additional damage during repairs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Safely handle parts, equipment, and vehicles. Qualifications Previous experience as an Auto Body or Collision Repair Technician . Strong knowledge of body and structural repair. Experience with MIG welding, fabrication, and sheet metal work. Skilled with automotive hand and power tools. Ability to identify damage and determine proper repair methods. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license preferred.
