Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Experienced Spray on Bed Liner Technician / Auto Body Prep Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicle surfaces for durable highe pressure, high temp Ultimate Linings bed liner. Your expertise in automotive surface preparation, coating application, and auto body repair will ensure top-quality results that meet our high standards. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces meticulously through sanding, scuffing, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings. Apply spray-on bed liners using Graco EXP-1 high pressure spraying equipment, ensuring even coverage and proper thickness for maximum durability. Perform minor auto body dent removal, sanding, buffing, Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, grinders, and spray guns with precision to achieve professional finishes. Conduct surface inspections and perform necessary masking to protect areas not intended for coating or spraying. Use automotive buffing techniques to enhance paint finishes and achieve a smooth, glossy appearance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection and proper handling of paints and chemicals. Mantain inspect and service equipment. Experience Proven experience or background in auto body repair and automotive refinishing. Hands-on experience with conventional spraying techniques, paint spraying, and surface preparation masking. Familiarity with automotive buffing, auto glass replacement, auto estimating, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects safely during vehicle prep or repair tasks.
