Experience in CCC is preferred but we are willing to train the right person with an automotive background. Toby's Body and Fender is the oldest / longest running independent family owned autobody repairer in Spokane (over eighty years, third generation). We are looking for someone with great a personality to interact with customers, self motivated and works well with our team. Someone that likes the challenge of helping repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, quality and honesty is our policy . I-CAR is a bonus but not required. You are not going to find an easier going positive place to work. Just get things done and have fun. Up to date equipment, forward thinking, growing shop. Responsibilities:
  • Assess and estimate the cost of automotive repairs and services
  • Review vehicle damage reports and determine the necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with insurance companies to negotiate repair costs and approvals
  • Provide accurate and detailed estimates to customers
  • Communicate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed according to estimates
  • Parts ordering, receiving, logging, returning, mirror matching, etc.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Estimator or in an autobody related role
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with auto body repair, brake repair, and vehicle maintenance
  • Experience working in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to transmit technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner
