Responsibilities Remove and replace auto glass on a wide range of vehicles efficiently and safely using hand tools and power tools. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle glass areas to identify damage or issues requiring repair or replacement. Install advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) sensors during windshield replacements to ensure proper calibration and functionality. Apply window tinting techniques to enhance vehicle appearance and provide UV protection, adhering to industry standards. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks related to auto body repair, including minor dent removal and surface preparation for glass installation. Use auto estimating software to assess damage, prepare repair estimates, and communicate findings clearly with customers. Lift heavy glass panels safely, following proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent injury. Requirements Proven experience in dealership auto glass installation or repair is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Familiarity with ADAS technology, including calibration procedures during windshield replacements. Knowledge of auto body repair, vehicle maintenance, and general automotive repair processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with window tinting applications and auto estimating software is a plus.
