$50,000-$80,000+ per year, based on experience and ability Prestige Car Wash is looking for an experienced Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installer to join our growing Auto Enhancement division.
THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL OR TRAINING POSITION. A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF FULL-TIME, PROFESSIONAL PPF INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE AT ANOTHER AUTOMOTIVE SHOP IS REQUIRED.
Applicants who do not have at least 2 years of full-time professional PPF installation experience at a shop will not be considered. We work on everything from everyday vehicles to brand-new Teslas, BMWs, Mercedes-Benz, Audis, Porsches and other high-end vehicles. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and can consistently produce clean, professional installations. Responsibilities Install paint protection film on partial and full vehicles Complete full-front PPF packages including bumpers, hoods, fenders, mirrors and headlights Perform full-body gloss and stealth/satin PPF installations Properly prep vehicles prior to installation Wrap edges and disassemble/reassemble minor vehicle components when necessary Identify and correct installation imperfections before vehicle delivery Maintain a clean and organized installation area Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality What We're Looking For
REQUIRED
Minimum 2 years of full-time professional PPF installation experience at another automotive shop Professional shop experience is required. Personal vehicles, hobby installations, DIY work or occasional film installation do not meet this requirement Ability to complete PPF installations with minimal supervision Experience with full fronts, bumpers and full-body installations Strong attention to detail Comfortable working on new, luxury and high-value vehicles Reliable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality XPEL installation experience is a major plus Window tint, vinyl wrap or ceramic coating experience is also a plus Compensation $50,000-$80,000+ annually Compensation will be based on experience, installation quality, speed and overall capability. Production/performance incentives are available for highly productive installers. Exceptional installers with advanced PPF, tint or wrap experience may earn above the listed range. What Matters to Us We're not looking for someone who has installed film a handful of times, worked on their own vehicles or is looking to learn PPF. We're looking for an experienced installer who understands the level of workmanship expected when a customer trusts us with a brand-new or high-end vehicle. You should be able to come into the shop, be assigned a customer vehicle and complete professional PPF work independently without needing basic installation training.
