Automotive Technician — Full-Time Auto Repair 74 — Birmingham, AL Auto Repair 74 is hiring an experienced Automotive Technician to join a clean, professional, and well-organized shop. We are looking for a technician who values quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, accountability, and professionalism. Compensation $30.00-$40.00 per flat-rate hour , based on experience, skill level, and diagnostic ability Guaranteed minimum pay Strong earning potential based on productivity and performance Work Schedule & Benefits Monday-Friday only ( Weekends off ) Paid vacation Clean, organized, and professional work environment Long-term stability Opportunity for training and technical growth We Are Looking for a Technician Who Works with honesty and stands behind their work Takes accountability for quality, accuracy, and results Shows respect for customers, teammates, tools, and time Communicates clearly and professionally Works well in a team environment Takes pride in clean, precise, and professional repairs Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately and efficiently Perform preventive and corrective maintenance Conduct vehicle inspections and quality checks Follow shop procedures, safety standards, and quality protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area Communicate findings and repair needs clearly Requirements 5+ years of automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Must have their own professional automotive tools Experience with OBD-II scanners and diagnostic tools ASE Certifications A1-A8 preferred Valid driver's license Professional attitude and strong work ethic To confirm you have read the full job description, please identify the name of the shop in your Indeed application message.
