Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic automotive mechanic to join our dynamic auto repair team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of automobiles and vehicles. It requires knowledge in inspecting a vehicle, diagnosing, repairing to ensure all systems are in working conditions. This position requires great communication skills and customer service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical, and mechanical systems. Use diagnostic computerized equipment to find mechanical and electrical problems. Perform preventative maintenance such as oil changes, checking fluids, replacing filters, and rotating tires. Repair and replace brakes, rotors, belts , radiators, water pumps, alternators, starters, fuel pumps and other automotive components. Test-drive and inspect vehicles before and after the repairs to ensure working order. Accurately document parts and services performed for billing purposes. Explain clearly any vehicle problems to the vehicle owner.

Skills and qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding in engine, electrical, and computer systems. The ability to safely operate, hand tools, power, tools, and lifts. Must have strong problem solving and communication skills. ASE certification.

Pay:

$100.00 - $140.00 per hour
