Automotive Technician - The Automotive Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to manufacturer standards. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced shop environment. Experience with Chrysler vehicles is preferred. Key Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using scan tools and testing equipment.

Perform routine maintenance:

oil changes, tire rotations, tune‑ups, and fluid services. Inspect and repair engines, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. Replace worn or damaged parts including sensors, belts, hoses, brakes, and filters. Conduct safety and emissions inspections. Perform wheel alignments and suspension adjustments. Communicate repair needs and recommendations to service advisors. Document all work performed and parts used. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum age: 20 years old. Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability. Ability to operate lifts, pneumatic tools, and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of automotive electrical, fuel, ignition, and emissions systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Chrysler experience preferred (dealership, certification, or hands‑on familiarity). Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Automotive technology training preferred. ASE certifications are a plus but not required. Prior experience working on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram vehicles is highly valued.

Pay:

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
