Horne Mazda of Avondale is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our growing service department. WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Service Advisor, you'll serve as the key connection between our customers and technicians, ensuring every customer receives a professional and positive service experience.

Responsibilities include:

Greet customers and provide a professional service experience Conduct vehicle walkarounds and accurately document customer concerns Write detailed and accurate repair orders Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle needs Clearly explain repair recommendations, pricing, and timelines Coordinate closely with technicians and the service department Monitor repair progress and keep customers informed Identify additional service opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach Manage appointments, repair orders, and customer follow-up Review completed repairs with customers and assist with vehicle delivery Build customer relationships that encourage repeat and referral business Maintain strong customer satisfaction, CSI, and productivity standards

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous dealership Service Advisor experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair Proven ability to recommend and sell automotive services Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience using computers, CRM systems, and dealership software Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a high-volume environment Professional appearance and positive attitude Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented approach Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
