Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Assistant to join our team. As a Shop Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of our automotive service shop. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical knowledge and a passion for the automotive industry to gain valuable experience and contribute to our team's success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist mechanics with various tasks including repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics
• Perform basic automotive service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements and tire mount and balancing.
• Assist in the disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and office area
• Retrieve parts and supplies as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
• Assists in customer pick up and delivery (of vehicles)

Requirements:

• Clean 39 month MVR record.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong communication skills This is a paid position with competitive compensation based on experience.
