We are looking for an experienced Level A Automotive Technician to join our busy service and reconditioning department. We have a large shop with 35+ lifts and a steady flow of vehicles. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled technician who wants consistent work, a professional environment, and the ability to use their diagnostic and mechanical skills every day. We are looking for a true A-level technician who can diagnose problems accurately, work independently, and complete repairs correctly without needing to be micromanaged. Duties Diagnose and repair a wide variety of used vehicles Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics Complete engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, cooling, HVAC and drivability repairs Perform inspections and identify needed repairs Verify repairs through proper testing and road tests Accurately document work performed Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate repair findings with management and service personnel Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Help ensure vehicles are properly reconditioned and ready for sale Skills Has strong diagnostic and mechanical skills Can independently diagnose difficult drivability, electrical, engine, transmission, and suspension issues Is experienced with both domestic and import vehicles Can read and interpret scan-tool data and diagnostic information Performs quality repairs efficiently Takes pride in their work and doesn't cut corners Can identify additional issues during inspections Has strong attention to detail Works well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Is dependable, organized, and professional Has a strong understanding of vehicle safety and reliability Can work independently while communicating effectively with the service team At Carizona, you're not going to spend your day doing the same basic maintenance job over and over.
