Job Description

Heritage Motor Co. is a growing independent automotive repair shop in Antioch looking for a dependable and experienced Automotive Technician / Lube Tech to join our team. We're looking for someone who is comfortable handling routine maintenance and general repairs, but who also has diagnostic experience and knows how to properly troubleshoot a vehicle instead of simply replacing parts based on a trouble code. Responsibilities Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance Inspect vehicles and identify needed repairs or maintenance Perform brake, battery, fluid, filter, and other general repairs Use scan tools to retrieve trouble codes and vehicle data Assist with diagnosing check engine lights and drivability concerns Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Clearly communicate diagnostic findings and recommended repairs to the shop manager Complete work accurately and within a reasonable timeframe Keep work area, tools, and shop equipment clean and organized Follow shop safety procedures What We're Looking For Previous automotive repair or lube technician experience Diagnostic/troubleshooting experience Comfortable using automotive scan tools General knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems Able to work on a variety of makes and models Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Reliable, punctual, and responsible Able to work independently and as part of a small team Willing to learn and grow as the shop grows Valid driver's license preferred Pay $20.00-$25.00 per hour , based on experience, skill level, and diagnostic ability. We're a small, growing shop and want someone who takes pride in their work, is willing to communicate, and wants to be part of building a strong team long-term.
