In this role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety for our valued customers. Your mechanical skills and attention to detail will contribute to a seamless service experience, supporting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced automotive systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair and replace diesel engines and heavy equipment components, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools efficiently to complete repairs promptly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems and mechanical failures. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and maintaining professional communication throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and auto body repair techniques. Expertise in diesel engine repair, transmissions, powertrain systems, and suspension system repair including shocks & struts. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Mechanical knowledge of brake repair, wheel alignment, tire service, oil changes, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively.
