This is not just a basic mechanic position. We need someone who can produce quality mechanical work, stay on schedule, communicate clearly, help guide workflow, and support the front office when needed. The right person is punctual, organized, sharp, and able to help keep the shop moving without needing to be babysat. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair general automotive issues Perform brakes, suspension, steering, cooling system, engine, maintenance, and drivability repairs Help prioritize vehicles and keep the shop workflow moving Communicate findings clearly to the front office Write clear repair notes for estimates and customer updates Help verify parts needed and support estimate building Assist with customer explanations when needed Help coordinate with other technicians Perform quality checks before vehicles are released Keep jobs moving instead of letting vehicles sit Show up on time and be ready to work What We Need We are looking for someone who can be a lead tech , not just another person in the bay.

You must be able to:

Diagnose accurately Work efficiently Communicate clearly Stay organized Be on time consistently Help guide the shop when management is not physically present Explain repairs in a way customers and the front office can understand Work with a team and not create drama or confusion Requirements Automotive repair experience required Strong diagnostic ability preferred Must be reliable and punctual Must have own basic tools Must be able to write or explain clear repair findings Must be comfortable helping with workflow, not just repairs Valid driver's license required Clean title, smog, warranty, and general repair experience is a plus Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required Pay $35 to $38 per hour , depending on experience, reliability, and leadership ability. Performance and attendance bonus opportunities may be available after evaluation. Schedule Full-time position.

Typical shop schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Saturday availability is a plus. 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Punctuality is required. If you cannot consistently arrive on time, this is not the right position.
