Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering top-tier vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and optimize a wide range of vehicle systems. Your hands-on skills will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, all while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values your growth and dedication. Duties Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel), transmission system repairs, suspension system adjustments, wheel alignments, tire installations and electrical system troubleshooting. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately to facilitate precise repairs and installations. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle components with attention to quality and safety standards. Repair or replace vehicle components such as powertrain parts, vehicle suspension systems and electrical wiring. Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service through clear communication about repair needs and timelines. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent shops preferred; strong background in automotive repair is essential. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using advanced diagnostic tools; experience with schematics interpretation is highly valued. Solid mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, electrical systems and suspension components. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, brake repairs, tires, wheel alignments, and system calibrations. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for troubleshooting electrical issues. Familiarity with diesel engine repair and the use of automotive electrical systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
