Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to optimize handling and safety standards. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems such as automotive electrical systems and wiring harnesses. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Service vehicle maintenance needs including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and system upgrades. Collaborate with customers to explain repairs clearly, provide excellent customer service, and recommend maintenance plans that extend vehicle lifespan. Stay current with industry advancements like ADAS technology and GM vehicle specifications to enhance diagnostic accuracy and repair quality. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and schematics interpretation skills. Hands-on experience with vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electronic control modules. Ability to perform complex repairs on GM vehicles or similar makes with confidence. Familiarity with vehicle suspension system repair, alignment procedures, and powertrain components. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Valid mechanic experience demonstrating technical proficiency across various automotive systems.
