Responsibilities Diagnose complex vehicle issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics, including electrical systems, powertrain components, and suspension systems Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to ensure vehicle longevity and safety Repair or replace critical vehicle systems including transmissions, powertrain components, steering, suspension, and electrical wiring Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs with precision and efficiency Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed using auto estimating software and adhere to dealership or service center standards Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair Proficiency in reading automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required Knowledge of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and repair techniques Skilled in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and electronic testing equipment Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and diesel engines Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance machinery safely Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients Familiarity with auto estimating software for accurate job costing and documentation Commitment to vehicle maintenance standards and automotive repair best practices Join us as an Automotive Technician if you're passionate about delivering exceptional vehicle care through technical expertise and a proactive approach.
