This role is ideal for a customer-focused automotive professional who understands repair procedures, communicates clearly with customers, and thrives in a fast-paced service environment. As the primary liaison between customers and technicians, the Auto Service Writer/Service Advisor will help deliver a smooth, professional experience from vehicle drop-off through pickup. This is a strong long-term opportunity for someone who values teamwork, supportive leadership, customer trust, and a positive shop culture focused on quality service and continued growth. Key Responsibilities Greet customers professionally, listen to concerns, document vehicle symptoms, and build strong customer relationships. Create repair orders, prepare accurate repair estimates, and present recommended repairs for customer authorization. Communicate diagnostic findings, service recommendations, repair status, and completion timelines clearly and professionally. Coordinate workflow between customers, technicians, and the parts department to keep service operations moving efficiently. Schedule appointments, manage daily workflow, maintain accurate records, and ensure repair orders and invoices are complete. Recommend preventative maintenance and additional repairs based on vehicle condition and customer needs.
