USED CAR TECHNICIAN
to join our team and bring an outstanding consumer experience to the table. Job Description We are seeking energetic, multi-tasking, organized, personable and hardworking II or III level domestic make technicians to provide high-quality vehicle maintenance, service, and repairs. Technicians may work independently or in a team environment in providing exceptional vehicle service to customers, while being mindful of the control of costs. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive Used Vehicle Inspections Use technology to complete multi-point inspections and send estimates for reconditioning Actively communicate with reconditioning manager, used car manager and service manager Perform preventive maintenance: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies Perform some more complex repairs, some advanced diagnostics Based upon certification level, perform various repairs and maintenance which may include: OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, state safety inspections, interior/exterior components, engine, drive-line components, etc. Keep shop area clean and tidy Perform work in accordance with safety standards Dispose of all fluids in a safe manner and in accordance with all regulations Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; will consider 3+ years of related work experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or
GED 3 - 5
