In this role, you will perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably, contributing to a positive service experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for automotive repair and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Diagnose vehicle issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics, identifying mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems efficiently. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs to keep vehicles in peak condition. Repair or replace critical mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, brakes, shocks & struts, and diesel engines.. Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to disassemble, repair, or replace vehicle parts following manufacturer specifications. Interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately to ensure precise repairs and adherence to safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring vehicle maintenance meets industry standards. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, diesel engines, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical components. Proficiency with automotive diagnostics equipment and schematics for troubleshooting complex issues. Hands-on experience with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and ADAS technology is highly desirable. Valid certification in automotive repair or relevant technical training; ASE certification is preferred. Experience working with GM vehicles or heavy equipment mechanics is advantageous but not required.
