Your mechanical knowledge and automotive expertise will help you confidently recommend services, upsell repairs, and manage repair orders efficiently. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to provide outstanding service experiences Write detailed repair orders and estimates using automotive estimating software, ensuring accuracy and transparency Communicate effectively with technicians to understand repair needs and relay information clearly to clients Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs to maximize shop productivity Manage customer inquiries professionally via phone and in person, providing updates on vehicle status and explaining repair procedures Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper documentation of all service sales and payments Utilize automotive diagnostics skills to assist in identifying issues or verifying repairs when needed Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Advisor/Writer or in a similar auto service management role; dealership experience is a plus Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Knowledge of auto estimating processes, collision repair procedures, and automotive service standards Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential Basic cash handling skills with attention to detail in transaction processing Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive expertise fuels customer satisfaction!
