Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on automotive electrical systems, engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, and other mechanical components using advanced schematics and diagnostic tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance including oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, brake repairs, and powertrain servicing. Repair diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks with attention to detail and adherence to safety standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret automotive schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues accurately. Complete auto estimating for repairs and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines. Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed while ensuring vehicle maintenance meets manufacturer specifications for GM vehicles and other makes. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, automotive electrical systems, and suspension system repair. Skilled in transmission repair, powertrain servicing, wheel alignment procedures, and oil change services. Knowledge of schematics interpretation for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical layouts. Experience working with diesel engines as well as heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Familiarity with auto estimating software and maintenance procedures specific to GM vehicles is a plus.
