The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the highest level of service for our clients. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs. Diagnose and repair automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, powertrains, and electrical systems. Conduct thorough inspections and provide accurate assessments of vehicle conditions using schematics and diagnostic tools. Work on various vehicle types, including GM vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Repair or replace components such as shocks & struts, alignment systems, air brakes, and suspension parts. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers clearly. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Skills Proven experience as an automotive mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques for diesel engines and automotive electrical systems. Familiarity with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective troubleshooting. Experience with auto body repair, auto estimating, and customer service skills is highly valued. Mechanical aptitude with a focus on vehicle maintenance practices including tire service, transmission work, alignment adjustments, and brake repair. Welding skills are an advantage for specific repair tasks.
